All our crazy paving stones are hand-selected at the quarry, before being palletised piece by piece. This ensures you always get the exact quantity, combination and quality you want for a great-looking finish. Because they are a natural product each patch varies from the next, meaning it’s a good idea to take a close look before you order. We recommend a minimum of 10mm pointing gap for crazy paving, though this need to be even higher in places given the non-symmetrical shapes. If you’re laying it in a high traffic area or somewhere with lots of trees or foliage, we also recommend using a natural stone sealant to protect against staining and give it a bit more grip in wet weather. As all of our stone is a quarried natural material, variations may occur in mineral content and there may also be slight marks or veining on the stone. As with most natural products, they look different when dry or wet.
