Recycled Type 1 is a crushed aggregate produced from processed recycled materials at our Mannings Heath Road Depot in Poole, providing a cost-effective and environmentally responsible alternative to primary aggregates. This material meets the specification for sub-base, ensuring it can be used in the same way as traditional Type 1, offering good compaction and load-bearing properties. Recycled Type 1 is commonly used for: Sub-bases beneath driveways, patios and paths Temporary access roads and hardstandings General groundwork and fill Construction projects where recycled materials are specified As a recycled product, colour and composition may vary.
